About me


My mission is to help clients adopt a healthy lifestyle by teaching them to balance diet and exercise.

I began my fitness career in the United States Air Force, as a Fitness Specialist in 1996. My primary job was to evaluate military members on their fitness levels. Once the evaluation was completed I would advise them on how they could improve their scores. I was also responsible for operating the fitness facilities at varies locations throughout the Air Force.

In 2004, I entered the civilian sector as a Certified Personal Trainer. As a personal trainer working for a gym, my primary focus was on sales. After a few short months, I mastered the business of personal training and became the head trainer. While working at the gym, I noticed my clients preferred to be in a private setting over the high traffic of the gym floor. Unfortunately the gym had no such area.

In 2008, I decided to strike out on my own and opened DLF Fitness Personal Training Studio.  My personal training studio is located in the Penn Quarter section of Washington, DC.  My approach is to teach my clients to balance their busy schedules with proper nutrition and exercise.
